House or villa rental in Bali has become a promising business since 1990s, not only in the main city of Denpasar, but also at the moment smaller town such as Kuta and Nusa Dua. House rental was offered to the local workers beside by room hire offers for smaller budget. Fast development of job number and variation during the time profitting the business like this. Local workers would feel more comfortable if they hire a room near the hotel or restaurant where they worked compared to starting from home which some times more then 20 kms away. This is also for temporal workers such as construction projects around Denpasar, Nusa Dua and Kuta areas. This workers mostly came from Java and Lombok island. While in Denpasar city beside construction project it was already developping room rental for students as schools and universities in Bali do not prepare housing for their students.
Later development villa contruction or hire were so proliferating which was offered for expatriate working in Bali. This type of villas can be found in the area of Seminyak, Krobokan, and Ubud. Some informal information said that even foreigners also buying villas like this for re-seller, time sharing and other activities. So beside standard houses that were many hired by foreginers the business of villa like this was said proliferating. If one see on the internet such type of business is really bustling, so many offers, so many type and design and also choice of places. The problem is that it is very difficult to find correct agent for this rental, mostly was an offer based on third party - the internet manager, while rantal agencies do not have good online shop. This is the cause of difficulty in finding the expected house or villa. If one type the keyword for house for rent in Kuta for examples then will appear dozens of urls that contains that keywords, but when it is browsed it say nothings or redirected to unclear places.
Since 2008 the inflation of land and housing has been too much in Bali the same case as in Jakarta. The rate was almost 60% that in 2007 in urban area of Denpasar only Rp 7,5 million per acre, but in 2012 reached Rp 450 million per acre.
